Solar savings calculator
Estimate what solar panels or a plug-in balcony kit would save you, using your own half-hourly Octopus Energy data.
My solar calculator takes your real half-hourly electricity use from your Octopus Energy account, matches it against typical solar generation for your postcode, and works out how much you’d use, export and save. You can change the system size, tilt, direction and your tariff.
It needs your Octopus API key and account number, which you’ll find on your Octopus developer page. They’re used to fetch your consumption data from Octopus.
