What I have bought from Robert Welch

We bought the Robert Welch Radford Bright 30-piece set in 2026, after it stood out as the best cutlery in all the houses I have house-sat in. It is comfortable, nicely weighted and robust: I have used a tablespoon as an ice cream scoop on rock-hard ice cream without bending it. I gave it 4.5 out of 5, with half a point off for the price.

One tip: Robert Welch warns that washing stainless steel alongside aluminium in the dishwasher can make it rust, so keep them apart.
